Advisor Plywood — Waterproof (BWP)
Our trusted-supplier waterproof plywood — BWP grade, for bathrooms, kitchen sinks and any surface that lives with water. Complements NM Ply, which covers the everyday range.
Where Advisor fits
Advisor is our trusted-supplier waterproof range. It sits alongside our own NM Ply, and the split is deliberate:
- NM Ply — the everyday range, always at the yard.
- Advisor — the waterproof tier, for surfaces that live with water.
What "waterproof" means here
Waterproof plywood in India is BWP grade, governed by IS:710 — the standard that requires a glue line to survive 72 hours of boiling water. That is the grade for:
- Bathroom vanities and shutters
- Kitchen sink cabinets
- Any surface that may see standing water
BWP is not the same as BWR (boiling water resistant, IS:303) or MR (moisture resistant). The names sound alike; the performance is not. If you are choosing between them, read our guide MR vs BWR vs BWP — or WhatsApp a photo of the room and let a specialist call it.
Thicknesses and sizes
Multiple thicknesses are held across the yards, and the range moves with demand. WhatsApp your requirement — a specialist will confirm today's range and hold what you need.
